Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This policy sets out what is and is not acceptable use of Audiar. It is designed to protect the integrity of the platforms we monitor, the communities we engage with, and the reputation of all Audiar users.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not use Audiar to:

  • Spam. Post unsolicited or bulk messages, or use Audiar to flood forums or social media with promotional content.
  • Violate platform terms. Engage in any automated posting that violates the terms of service of Reddit, Twitter/X, MoneySavingExpert, or any other platform.
  • Harass. Target, threaten, bully, or intimidate any individual or group.
  • Impersonate. Misrepresent your identity or affiliation. If you are posting on behalf of a company, be transparent about it when asked.
  • Post misleading content. Knowingly post inaccurate advice, false claims, or deceptive information.
  • Circumvent rate limits. Attempt to bypass the daily posting limits set for your accounts.
  • Scrape or abuse. Use Audiar to extract data for purposes unrelated to the service, or to perform actions that could harm the platforms we monitor.

3. Platform respect

The forums and communities we monitor are real places with real people seeking help. Every reply you post through Audiar should:

  • Provide genuine value to the person asking the question.
  • Be at least 80% advice and information, with any product mention being secondary.
  • Respect the culture and norms of the specific platform.
  • Not be posted if it would be perceived as spam or unwelcome promotion.

4. Account management

  • Maintain separate forum accounts for different products or brands as appropriate.
  • Build genuine post history on each account before posting product recommendations.
  • Respect the daily posting limits configured in Audiar.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or damage the reputation of the platforms we monitor. Enforcement actions may include:

  • Warning and request to modify behaviour.
  • Temporary suspension of access.
  • Permanent termination of access.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except in cases of severe or repeated violations.

If you become aware of any misuse of Audiar, please report it to hello@audiar.io.
