1. Who we are

Audiar is operated by Podium Brands Limited (Company No. 14423877), registered in England and Wales. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller.

2. What data we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Social media posts

We monitor publicly available posts from forums, social media platforms, and communities (Reddit, MoneySavingExpert, Twitter/X, Hacker News, and others). These posts are publicly accessible and we do not access private or restricted content.

Draft replies

We store AI-generated draft replies and any edits you make to them before posting.

Usage analytics

We collect basic usage data such as which features you use, classification and drafting statistics, and approval rates. This data is used to improve the service.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the Audiar service: ingesting posts, classifying them, drafting replies, and presenting them for your review.
  • To improve classification and drafting quality over time.
  • To maintain and secure your account.
  • To communicate with you about the service (e.g. important updates).

4. Sub-processors

We use the following third-party services to provide Audiar:

  • Supabase (EU region, Frankfurt) - Database hosting and authentication.
  • Anthropic (United States) - AI classification (Claude Haiku) and drafting (Claude Sonnet). Post content is sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic does not use this data for training.
  • Vercel (Global CDN) - Application hosting and serverless functions.

5. Data retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active.
  • Upon account deletion, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
  • Ingested posts that are publicly available may be retained for service improvement, but any association with your account will be removed.

6. Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • Access - Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Correction - Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion - Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Portability - Request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Restriction - Request restriction of processing.
  • Objection - Object to processing of your personal data.

7. Cookies

We use essential session cookies only (Supabase authentication). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
